Statement of Purpose
The Tufts Chapter of Global China Connection is a professional-oriented student organization that is part of a large network that seeks to form connections between future leaders of China and the United States before they become key players the most important bilateral relationship of the 21st century.
TGCC aims to: (1) cultivate friendships between Tufts, China, and the international community, (2) promote greater understanding of modern China on campus through professional events and speaking engagements, and (3) foster communication and interaction between Tufts’ undergraduate community and the greater GCC network extending over 60 universities.

Tufts Global China Connection is a chapter of Global China Connection (GCC), the world’s leading student organization dedicated to providing the future leaders of China and the international community with a platform to engage each other. A non-profit, non-partisan organization, GCC is represented in over 60 chapters at top universities around the world. We work directly with top Chinese universities as well as a number of corporate and organizational partners on a variety of projects to provide opportunities for our members to gain international experience and develop an international network.
